- DONNER LAKE
- The Kokes are on the small side but biting. The whole east end of the
lake has kokanee biting at 45 feet. The Mackinaw are biting right now also.
We are getting about 5 Macks a day .Most are from 3 to 5 pounds down at 150
feet on worms.
- Please let the Big Macks GO (fish over 10 pounds). If we don't your KIDS wont have the chance that you have to catch one of these big fish that have been in the lake for 40 years.
- STAMPEDE
- The bite has gone away for most anglers. I don't know why, but the Kokes
have shut down. Most anglers are only getting 1 or 2 fish. The fish are at
50 feet. I have been jigging for them and getting up to 8 fish sometimes.
The water is being pulled out of the lake so I think the current has
something to do with the bite being so slow.

IT ONE OF MY BEST YEARS EVER!
- DAVIS LAKE
- Davis lake has been good for the fly fishermen. The Damsel Fly hatch is
just about over. Soon the trollers will be getting some nice fish. Start
trolling over by the inland, start off at about 15 feet.
- FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO LEARN HOW TO FLY FISH I AM BOOKING FLY FISHING TRIPS

- SHASTA LAKE
- The King Salmon bite is good...try over in the dry creek or out in front
of the dam. Roll Shad at 120 feet for the bigger fish.
- LAKE TAHOE
- No Report.
- REMEMBER 500 FEET FROM ANY INLET OR YOU WILL GET A TICKET.
- EAGLE LAKE
- Eagle lake has been very good this year with the lake up the fish are all
over the lake. Soon when the weather gets cold the fish will be up in the
Youth Camp area feeding on minnows so match the hatch . Use Artic Fox flies
in the tui chub pattern, or the all orange one. Troll them back behind the
boat about 150 feet, then put it in your downrigger and run then down just
below the surface of the water.
- Beginning in September, the big Rainbow Trout start moving to the north end of Eagle Lake and that is when we start fishing for these monsters.
